Richard Clay Nunn, 85, of Glasgow, Kentucky, died in Glenview Health Care Center on December 6, 2023. He was born to Irene Carter Nunn and Garnett Christopher Nunn.
Richard worked for several national corporations and resided in Glasgow, Kentucky his whole life. Richard liked VHF/DVD movies, Nascar, stock cars, horses, and UK basketball. passionate collector of rare model cars, knives, watches, and guns.
Richard always had a Chocolate Tootsie roll sucker in his mouth, whether you noticed or not. He liked talking and eating breakfast at Hardy’s Social Breakfast Group in Glasgow, Kentucky, every morning.
Children Sandy Kay Richey and Richard Wayne Nunn of Nashville, Florida, survive him. Glasgow, Kentucky spouse Steve, stepson Rodney, and Timothy Clay Nunn Jerry Glen Nunn and his wife Melissa, and Louisville, Kentucky, Jr. Grandchildren: Clay, Luke, Spencer, Olivia Nunn Glasgow, Ky.
Nicholas and Jack Payne, Louisville, Ky.; Jennifer’s husband, Chip, Scottsville; Jason Richey Glasgow; Chris Nunn Nashville. Great-grandchildren: Aviona Grace Nunn of Glasgow, Ky.; Neil Murley; Kaylee Arterburn and Jacob; and Taylor Murley and Brooke. They all live in Scottsville, Ky. Great Great Grandchildren: Collin, Rylin, Hadley Melton, Evelyn, Addie Murley, Logan Arterburn, Scottsville, Ky. Along with his parents, his only sister Carol Nunn, his parents’ parents, and his two ex-wives’ mothers died before him.
At the Poplar Log Cemetery, graveside services are scheduled on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 1:00 pm. The funeral home of Hatcher & Saddler is helping the family with their plans.
