Patricia Kaye Barrett Womack, a cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2023, at the age of 72. The town of Woodbury is in mourning. Patricia passed away in her home in Woodbury, surrounded by her loving family, to the melancholic tune of “I’ll Fly Away,” which echoes the idea of a soul ascending to eternal peace. Patricia left behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and love for her family and community.
Her influence may be seen in the lives she touched, creating cherished memories that those who knew her will always hold dear. The family suggests that donations to the John Womack Scholarship Fund, “Send a Camper to Camp,” be made in lieu of flowers in recognition of Patricia’s dedication to education and community service.
Patricia’s dedication to giving local youngsters meaningful experiences is reflected in this fund. The family will be available for viewing on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:45 p.m.
at Woodbury Funeral Home. This will be a sincere get-together to commemorate Patricia’s life and the influence she had on everyone around her, along with memories and condolences.
