In the wake of the unexpected passing of Evan Campbell Bryant on November 26, 2023, a profound sense of loss envelops the Resort Resale community, where Evan was a bright light, known for his humor, soft-spoken nature, and genuine kindness.
The entire team at Resort Resale is grappling with the immense void left by his absence, as Evan’s vibrant spirit resonated deeply with each member. As they come to terms with this sorrowful event, the team earnestly asks for prayers and support for Evan’s grieving family.
Evan, at the age of 35, was not only a beloved son but also a cherished brother and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and a genuinely good heart. Survived by his mother, Marilyn McDermand, and father, John N. Bryant, Evan’s impact extends to his daughter Ava, his sister Maddy Curley, and her daughters Katarina and Lucy. The network of aunts, uncles, and cousins, including his favorite Aunt Laurie, share in the collective grief.
A proud graduate of Leon High School and the University of Florida, Evan was not just academically accomplished but also deeply engaged in his community. His dedication was evident through his employment at Resort Resale in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and his recent entrepreneurial venture, Destination Moving, undertaken with a close friend.
Evan found solace in the outdoors, especially through his love for fishing, and his affections for family and friends were reciprocated manifold.
To honor Evan’s memory, a celebration of life is scheduled for Sunday, December 10, at 2:00 pm at Centenary United Methodist Church in Quincy, Florida. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to Haven House, a cause Evan held dear.
