We are saddened to inform you of the demise of a real American hero, David Dillon, Flight 17, and it is with heavy hearts that we make this announcement. Dave, a veteran of the Vietnam War, served his nation with unyielding commitment as an Army medic from February 1966 to June 1969 while he served his country.
As a result of his unselfish dedication to duty, he was awarded the renowned Bronze Star and Purple Heart, both of which are symbols of his courage and sacrifice while serving in the military.
Beyond the battlefield, Dave leaves behind a legacy that had a significant influence on those who had the opportunity of knowing him. His legacy goes beyond the battlefield. The bravery, compassion, and dedication to duty that he exhibited are remarkable examples of the values that contribute to the greatness of our nation.
