Jimmy Garrison was a man whose contagious sense of humor and warm heart left an indelible imprint on all those who had the good fortune to meet him. It is with a deep sense of sorrow that I relay the news of his loss. Jimmy, who was irreplaceable in this world due to his distinct laugh and unending smile, passed away suddenly on a Sunday, leaving behind a vacuum that will never be replaced. The beginning of my relationship with Jimmy can be traced back to our youth,
when we both made our home in the same neighborhood. Jimmy was more than simply a buddy; he was a member of our family at every stage of his life, beginning with his early years as our paperboy and continuing through his incorporation into our family.
Through the years, we have created memories that will be treasured for the rest of our lives by sharing many moments of happiness and laughing with one another. My sincerest condolences go out to his wife, Jennifer Garrison, who has been by his side for more years
than my recollection can recall. She is my best friend. Her heart is definitely devastated as a result of the unexpected loss, and I am keeping her in my thoughts and prayers as she goes through this difficult time.
In the year 2024, there will be a modest memorial service held in Jimmy’s honor to commemorate the lively life he led.
The sound of his laughing and grin will be ingrained in our memory for all time, even if words may not be able to accurately express the spirit of the joy that he brought into our lives. Even though Jimmy Garrison is no longer with us, the laughter he provided to others and the joy he brought will live on as a tribute to a life that was lived to the fullest.
