As a real pillar of our club, Jim Mullan passed away recently, and it is with a heavy heart that we share the news of his departure. It is impossible to erase the imprint that Jim’s unwavering dedication and unselfish services have made on our community over the course of his lifetime. His unexpected passing has left a hole in our lives that can never be filled, and we are struggling to come to terms with the great loss that his absence has brought about.
Jim was not only a member of the club; rather, he exemplified the spirit of committed and enthusiastic participation in the sport that we all hold dear. He won the hearts of everyone who had the good fortune to meet him throughout the course of his life by his unflinching support and the innumerable acts of charity he performed.
Jim was a vital component of our club’s success since his impact went well beyond the playing field. He was responsible for arranging activities and mentoring younger members, among other things.
While Jim’s family, including Orla, Megan, and Brianna, is going through this extremely trying time, we are keeping them in our thoughts and prayers.
We are very saddened by their loss and extend our most sincere sympathies to them as we reflect on the amazing person that Jim was. The dynamic personality and contagious enthusiasm that Jim possessed made him a treasured friend to a great number of people in our community.
His departure will definitely be felt by everyone who had the honor of coming into contact with him at any point in existence.
