I convey the news of the demise of Dek Chambers, a loving father who battled bravely until the very last. It is with a heavy heart and tremendous grief that I share this news with you. After a valiant fight against a major heart attack, he passed away yesterday in a calm and tranquil manner, surrounded by his family.
In the beginning, he was admitted to a nearby hospital; however, he was subsequently moved to specialized care in Edinburgh and then Glasgow, where his condition was carefully monitored.
In spite of the best efforts of the medical staff and the unflinching support of his loved ones, Dek’s condition continued to deteriorate, which ultimately led to his passing away in a peaceful manner.
During the closing moments of his life, his children and his mother were by his side, offering him with comfort and affection. In the following days, the family will provide friends and well-wishers with an update on the funeral preparations as they join together to commemorate the life of a magnificent man.
As they mourn the death of their beloved father, the Chambers family would like to express their thanks for the support and sympathies they have received during this difficult time.
