Meenan Sean Obituary, In Memoriam Of Meenan Sean

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sean (John) Meenan, formerly of 140 Crockanboy Road, Omagh BT79 7RS, who departed from this world on December 3, 2023, surrounded by the love that enveloped his home.

Sean was the beloved husband of Fran, a devoted father to Patrick, Yvonne, Noel, Christopher, Joanne, and the late Stephen. His departure leaves a significant void in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be part of his cherished family.

Sean was not just a husband and father; he was a pillar of strength, a source of guidance, and a repository of love for his family. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who knew him as a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather.

Sean’s love extended beyond the immediate family, as evidenced by his relationships with his siblings—Mickey, Mary, Vera, and the late Stanley—binding the Meenan family together in a tapestry of shared memories and enduring love.

On Tuesday, December 5, Sean’s remains will journey from his late residence at 10.30am, heading to St. Mary’s Church, Rouskey, for an 11.00am Requiem Mass. The final resting place will be the adjoining cemetery, where he will find peace.

As the Meenan family prepares to bid their final farewell, the pain of their loss is palpable. Sean’s wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the entire family circle are united in grief, leaning on each other for support during this challenging time.

The memories of Sean’s love, kindness, and wisdom will serve as a guiding light as they navigate life without his physical presence. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul, and may Sean Meenan rest in eternal peace.
