The Caulfield family is experiencing a profound period of sadness and introspection as they grieve the loss of their cherished matriarch, Margaret Caulfield (née O’Neill), who passed away quietly on Friday morning at Tipperary University Hospital.
Margaret, who lived on Slievenamon Road after first settling in Ard Fatima, Clonmel, County Tipperary, left a legacy of warmth, affection, and treasured memories. Margaret is survived by her sons Wayne and Stephen, as well as her daughters Pamela, Rebecca, and Karen.
She was predeceased by her sister Babby and, more recently, by her husband Alan. Numerous grandkids are included on the Caulfield family tree: Lorna, Shane, Adam, Chloe, Dean, Leah, Aaron, Megan, Orlaith, Liam, Jamie, Ryan, Kayden, and Sadie.
Ayla, Ari, and Millie, Margaret’s great-grandchildren, carry on the family tradition and make their get-togethers happy and entertaining. The loss of Margaret also grieves her sister Carol (Gearon) and brothers Michael, John, and Stephen. Her loss is mourned by her sons-in-law, Tony, Bernard, and James; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews; and a large number of friends and extended relatives.
Margaret was a living example of compassion, courage, and unshakable devotion to her family. Although her kind disposition and protective presence will be deeply missed, those who had the good fortune to know and love her will surely never forget her.
The many times spent together and the affection that will last long after Margaret’s passing provide comfort to the Caulfield family as they gather to honor her life. In this time of sorrow, the community unites them in extending condolences and support, remembering Margaret Caulfield as a light of love and resiliency in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
