Robert Hodges Obituary, A Precious Soul Gone Too Soon

This past Saturday, November 2, 2019, Robert Hodges, who was 56 years old and lived in Mathiston, Mississippi, passed away. His parents, Herbert and Frances Anderson Hodges, welcomed him into the world on January 2, 1963. Over the course of his whole life, Robert lived in Webster County. Eupora High School and Golden Triangle Vocational Technical Center, which is now known as East Mississippi Community College, were both places where he received his diploma.

The Columbus, Mississippi-based company Valmet, Inc. was his place of employment. He spent his spare time engaging in activities such as fishing, hunting, and hanging out with his pals.

The love that his father and grandfather had for his two daughters and grandchild was extremely unconditional. He had a deep affection for his dog, Bullet, who passed away before him. They recall this affection with fondness.

His two daughters, Haley Hodges (Adam Chandler) of Starkville, Mississippi and Mackenzie Hodges of Starkville, Mississippi, as well as his grandson, Grayson Barnett, as well as his two brothers, Steve Hodges of the Clarkson Community and Russell Messer of Conway, Arkansas, as well as his cherished nieces and nephews, are among those who are able to carry on his legacy.

His parents, Herbert Hale and Frances Alberta Anderson Hodges, passed away before him. He is the only child of the couple. Visitors are welcome to stop by the family’s home on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. With regard to all of the arrangements, Wise Reed Funeral Home is in control.
