Aline Hendrixson Obituary, A Life Dedicated To Service

Aline Hendrixson, who resided in Vincennes, Indiana, departed this world on November 26, 2023. It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of her loss. Sarah (Blubaum) Murphy and Elwood Murphy welcomed their daughter Aline into the world on June 23, 1941 in Vincennes, Indiana. Aline was their daughter.

Aline was a housewife who took great satisfaction in providing her family and friends with a pleasant and inviting atmosphere to spend time in their company. The sounds of Elvis Presley’s music permeated her home, which she referred to as her “castle.” This served as a continual reminder of her affection for the King. Since Aline considered Christmas to be a very special time, she made it a point to watch every single Hallmark Christmas show. The very essence of her existence consisted of these uncomplicated pleasures, and she took great delight in imparting them to others.

It was her family that brought Aline the most happiness and satisfaction in her life. She was a shining example of affection and warmth, and the people whose lives she touched will carry on her legacy long after she disappears.

As a housekeeper for a considerable amount of time, she was also very proud of her work. Both the Executive Inn and the former Crestview Nursing Home were places of employment for her.

Aline is survived by her loving daughter, Carol Lockard; grandchildren, Brandy Stone (Bobby) and Cody Hendrixson; great grandchildren, Bobby Stone Jr, Bryceston Stone, Lawaustin Stone, Skyler Stone, Bentley Stone, Bristol Stone, Braden Hendrixson, and Lilyana Hendrixson; nieces, Sarah Kocher (Ivan), Tammy Rupple (Joe), Cheryl Yochum (Steve), Annette Holloway (Jason), Chad Sutton, and Cathy Rice; and several loving nephews and nieces. Although we are very saddened by her passing, we take solace in the recollections of her warmth, her humor, and the unflinching love she had for us.

Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home will be the location of the visitation that will take place on Monday, December 4, 2023, from one to three o’clock in the afternoon.

At three o’clock in the afternoon, Pastor Trevor Murry will preside over the funeral ceremony that will immediately follow the visitation. At a later time, the burial will take place. The Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home treats the responsibility of Aline’s care with the utmost respect and gratitude.
