On May 24, 1944, Lee Ralph DeVinney entered the world, and on November 24, 2023, he peacefully departed from it in the comfort of his Montrose, Colorado home. Ralph, a lifelong resident of Montrose, and his beloved wife, Caroline, built a life filled with love, community service, and cherished moments.
Ralph’s passion for horses, fishing, and hunting reflected his deep connection to the natural beauty surrounding Montrose. As a testament to his commitment to community, he dedicated a lifetime to the Elks Lodge,
serving and enriching the lives of those around him. His impact extended beyond social contributions, as he spent years as the parts manager at US Tractor before retiring on November 31, 2015. Family was at the core of Ralph’s existence, and he cherished moments spent with loved ones.
His profound love for his family became even more evident in the wake of his passing, as he joined his wife, Caroline, in the afterlife. Preceded in death by his parents Lee and Hazel, brother Clyde, and sisters Susan and Judy, Ralph is survived by sisters Linda and Peggy, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In a touching tribute, Ralph will be laid to rest beside his beloved Caroline at Grand View Cemetery at a later date. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, but the memories of his vibrant life will endure.
