Jim Carter Eau Obituary, Claire WI Resident Has Died, Learn More

 tom jim Following a brief bout with illness, Carter passed away on November 23. However, he did so on his own terms. He spent his childhood in South St. Paul, moved to Green Bay to play football with the Packers, and then went on to play football at the University of Minnesota. After his time spent competing in athletics, he went on to work in the automobile industry in Wisconsin. Following his retirement, he has resided in both the state of Minnesota and the city of Palm Springs in Nevada.

Every day, Jim made an effort to improve himself, despite the fact that he was a flawed individual. As a result of his fervent involvement in the rehabilitation process, he was able to assist a great number of individuals in locating their way out of the shadows. The extent of his dedication to assisting those who struggle with addiction was of the utmost importance in his life, and the positive impact he had was significant. In addition to being a devoted friend and teammate to a great number of people, he was also known for his renowned kindness, generosity, and sense of humor.

Not only was he tough, but he was also fair, and once his light shone on you, you changed for the better. Jim’s wife, Victoria Miller, is the only one he leaves behind. According to Jim, “In our 30 years together she gave me a life filled with growth, learning, art and creativity, and most of all, unconditional love” .

His memory will be preserved by his sisters Jan and Mary, his stepson Taryn Reuter and his family, his wife Venessa and their children Talan, Izzy, and Malia, and a large number of friends who loved him profoundly.

On Thursday, November 23, Jim Carter, who had been a gritty and accomplished middle linebacker for the Green Bay Packers for eight years, passed away from cancer. He had the responsibility of replacing a legend on the team, but he was never given the credit he deserved.

Carter was selected in the third round of the 1970 draft, and a year later, he took over as the starting middle linebacker from Ray Nitschke, who was a fan favorite and would later be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
